What Makes me Happy

July 3rd, 2008

One of the things I love most about my job is the opportunity to work with couples from different cultures. Here in the Triangle we have so many colleges and universities that attract people from all over the world.

As a result, I feel like I have gotten an education in international travel without leaving the home!  My greatest joy is helping the bride & groom seamlessly integrate each other’s wedding rituals into their wedding.  Its also a great lesson for them in how to compromise and build a wedding that represents both of their culture.  After all, marriage is about compromise and commitment to the relationship.  What a good way to start out and it sets the stage for decisions that will come later especially when the couple have children.

My First Blog

May 21st, 2008

I am very excited to be posting my very first blog.  My goal is to provide information and insights into wedding planning and how a wedding planner can assist a bride in making her wedding just what she has envisioned.  I will share with you creative ideas that my brides and I have come up with.  I will share challenges I have faced in planning a wedding and how I have been able to resolve these issues.

But most importantly, I hope to provide some useful information to prospective brides.  My goal is always to help brides have the wedding they have always envisioned or help them create a vision for their most special day.
